Terms and Conditions

  1. Bookings
  • The hirer must provide accurate information at the time of booking, including the installation location, floor level, and parking proximity.
  • If delivery involves stairs or other access issues, this must be disclosed at booking to allow proper planning.
  • Failure to provide relevant information may result in the refusal of delivery and installation, with no refund issued.
  1. Hirer Responsibilities
  • The hirer must take reasonable care to avoid injury or damage to the hired equipment.
  • Equipment must remain in its original condition for collection. Damages or losses will be charged.
  • Hirers may inspect the equipment after setup and report any existing issues. Damage caused during installation is not the hirer’s responsibility.
  1. Prices, Deposits & Payments
  • Prices are subject to change but will be honoured once booked.
  • A non-refundable booking deposit is required: £30 for indoor teepees or £50 for bell tents.
  • A refundable security deposit (£50 for indoor teepees, £100 for bell tents) will be returned within 48 hours after collection if no damage or loss occurs.
  • Final balances must be paid in full 7 days before the event. Late payments will result in cancellation with no refund.
  1. Cancellations & Rescheduling
  • Cancellations require at least 7 days’ notice. Deposits are non-refundable, and no refunds will be issued for cancellations within 7 days of the event.
  • Date changes are permitted with a minimum of 7 days’ notice.
  1. Equipment Care
  • All equipment remains the property of Magical Hideout.
  • Damaged or lost items will be deducted from the security deposit. Additional costs beyond the deposit will be invoiced.
  • Equipment must only be used as intended. Climbing, hanging, or misuse is prohibited.
  • Smoking, food, drinks, makeup, pens, paints, and sharp objects must be kept away from equipment.
  • Pets are not allowed on or near the equipment. Extensive cleaning due to pet hair may forfeit part or all of the security deposit.
  1. Delivery, Setup & Collection
  • Delivery, assembly, and styling are included within a 10-mile radius of Silsoe, Bedfordshire. Additional delivery fees apply for areas outside this range.
  • The hirer must ensure adequate space, clean areas, and clear access for setup. Failure to provide suitable conditions may result in the refusal of service, with no refund except the security deposit.
  • Setup takes 60–120 minutes, during which the area should remain distraction-free.
  • Equipment must remain in place and inside the home at all times.
  • Magical Hideout reserves the right to refuse service or remove equipment due to unsafe conditions or inappropriate conduct, with no refunds.
  1. Supervision & Safety
  • Supervision of children is required at all times. Equipment is recommended for children aged 5 and over. Children under 5 must not be left unsupervised overnight.
  • Abuse or inappropriate behaviour toward Magical Hideout staff will not be tolerated and may result in the immediate removal of equipment.
  1. Liability
  • Magical Hideout ensures equipment is safe and functional upon delivery. However, liability is limited to a refund or pro-rata fee reduction in the event of delays caused by uncontrollable circumstances.
